Pope's arrival and dinner after the event at Barangaroo. Barangaroo was built exclusively for WYD on the Darling Harbor. It hosted opening Mass with Cardinal Pell from Sydney Australia, the arrival of the Holy Father, concerts, events, and the Stations of the Cross. It is also a place for gathering for meals and fellowship. Meals have been tuna sandwiches for lunch and stews for dinner. The overall atmosphere has been great joy, excitement, singing in many languages from around the world, and pilgrims standing on garbage cans to get a better view of the Holy Father!

[We're sending] pictures from the pilgrimage and vigil. The vigil and Mass were amazing. We are having a great time, but are constantly on the move. It seems like our group has made a plan to see everything down here! I think we might need a vacation after this pilgrimage is complete.
We had Monday off to relax, and most of those in our group just chilled out so that we would have energy when we went back on the go.
We are now in New Zealand, staying with host families, and everything is absolutely beautiful! Today we are going to see the Maori culture, they are the indigenous people of this Land. We look forward to seeing and learning more!
